European Network of Environmental Professionals
ENEP network is an association of several European associations of "Environmental Professionals", which was founded in December 2002 in Düsseldorf under the leadership of the VDI.
The VNU is one of the founding members, and as of 2017, ENEP with its 22 member associations represents about 45,000 members. VNU and ENEP are recognised as European spokespersons for environmental management both by ENEP and the EU Commission. The "Environmental Professionals" (environmental experts) find in ENEP and VNU a Europe-wide representation of their interests as well as room for manoeuvre in the technical work of environmentally oriented business administration and environmental management systems.
The network is no longer active since August 2019.
