Foundation German Sustainability Award
With eight competitions, over 1,200 applicants and wide-reaching events, the German Sustainability Award (DNP) is the largest prize of its kind in Europe. The award is sponsored by the Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V. (German Sustainability Award Foundation) in cooperation with the Federal Government, municipal umbrella organisations, business associations, civil society organisations and research institutions.
In the spirit of the UN Agenda 2030, the DNP awards groundbreaking contributions to the transformation towards a sustainable future in important transformation fields such as climate, biodiversity, resources, society and supply chain. The award aims to motivate the relevant actors to change and to network across borders.
Business actors can apply online in the categories of companies, design, start-ups, packaging and "local heroes". The DNP will be awarded at the German Sustainability Day in Düsseldorf in December.
