Trends and tools for sustainable corporate development
This is the tried and tested motto of the Environmental and Sustainability Manager Day, to which we cordially invite you on 26 March 2020 at the IHK Frankfurt am Main. After the internal general assembly of the association in the morning, an exciting programme awaits you from 13:00 hrs.
At the beginning we are looking forward to the presentation of the author Prof. Dr. Ch. Holler, who researched the topic of renewable energies together with Prof. Dr. Gaukel and published it in a book. Subsequently, we will discuss in a dialogue (Fraport AG / KlimAkitv gGmbH) how the highly hot topic of climate protection can be integrated into an EU environmental management system (EMAS).
What role do environmental protection and human rights play in the supply chain and what role can an environmental management system play in this? The Federal Environment Agency has initiated a study and will report on the results.
Finally, another up-to-date topic must not be missing from our programme. We will hold a panel discussion on the future of plastics as a resource with representatives from companies, research and associations.

All are in favour of climate protection. But nobody wants to limit themselves. Ecoroutine wants to change the situation by setting standards and limits. Our guest speaker Dr. Michael Kopatz says: "Enough moral appeals! Strategic consumption is a myth. It is easier to improve the conditions in the stable than consumer behaviour. Zero-emission cars could become the standard for new registrations by 2030. Zero-energy houses will soon be the norm. This way, eco becomes routine. Many examples show: The concept is already working in practice."
